BMF Launch Regional Centre of Excellence at Talasey Group
The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has launched another Regional Centre of Excellence at Talasey Group’s HQ in Doncaster.
Designed to give BMF members in the local area access to BMF training and events closer to home, Regional Centres of Excellence have been quick to open at various locations across the UK. The launch of a centre at Talasey Group, not only emphasises the network’s significant growth in the past year but also provides BMF members based in and around Yorkshire with a convenient facility, from which to attend events and training.
One of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of landscaping solutions, Talasey Group offer a diverse and innovative brand portfolio, acting as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all landscaping needs. Last summer, the company launched their very own training facility, Talasey Training Academy (TTA). With a range of City & Guilds accredited training courses, the TTA helps landscape professionals, apprentices, students and merchants build confidence, skills and knowledge and get the most out of materials.
John Newcomb, BMF Chief Executive, said: “The centre was opened at our BMF Young Merchants meeting on the 19th February. This is an excellent centre that is well used by Talasey’s clients. We are extremely grateful that they are opening the centre to our members too, as localisation is an important strategy for the BMF. We look forward to holding future meetings and training courses here for members in the region.”
Malcolm Gough, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Talasey Group said: “As an extension of our commitment to the landscaping and building industry, we recently opened Talasey Training Academy. With an abundance of facilities and equipment, the space will lend itself well to BMF training and events. We can’t wait to welcome BMF members and support the ongoing development of industry professionals!”
